About our counsellors and therapists

Our counsellors and therapists train for a minimum of three years and receive professional supervision, and undertake continuing professional development.  They abide by the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Their skills in listening enable them to point out life-patterns that we may miss when in the thick of a crisis, and to help us to understand the deeper motives that we do not always spot. Without giving mere advice, they will seek to enable us to find our own solutions, so that we can begin to be more constructive in the ways that we manage our feelings and behaviour and can take more control of our lives.
